B.) Everyone knows how much we make

I don’t go around telling everyone that im a dentist just because I know how to brush and floss my teeth. I also dont go around saying im a musician just because i played piano when I was 9years old. Every professional job or any job at all takes TIME, EXPERIENCE, AND some kind of EDUCATION (rather it be self taught or at an institution) so seriously, why do photographers get such a bad rap? oh well.. things could always be worse!

{three wedding photographers and all over photographers who love what we do in the snow, rain, heat, sleet, sun, sand, mud, when we’re starving for food or water, and everything else}

so.. mb and i have been married now for alittle over three years..mb likes to tell people that its been an eternity….whatever, i could make him start to FEEL like an eternity if he’d like.. bahahahahahah (thats my evil laugh! Haha), but yes, little over three years, or 21 dog years. however you see fit.

together though, i think we’re still childish, selfish, think we’re still in college kind of a couple. (and if you know us personally, ya you know that we’re still very immature)

But, I think that that helps us more than others since we both have very “yes we like to think we’re important people” kind of jobs. so our immaturity helps.

However, I could not image losing mb after only 2.5 years of marriage due to cancer. I have no idea what that would be like. I have absolutely no idea. You walk down that isle and you are told that its forever (foooor–eeeeevvvv—-eeeer, ya sandlot). Right? forever…

and yes i’m whining and going on and on in it… the damn blog has well over a thousand words! that’s a TON for me!

i’m only human and i’m allowed to vent, over react, and yell every once in a while. and i will say this: i have the BEST husband in the world.  MB deals with me venting, traveling all over to do what i love, who is gone (me) just about every weekend to work and see such awesome people, and who also lets me embarrass the poop out of him about twice a year, and who loves me more than anything and is always there for me

so with that- thank you MB, i love you so much.

Ok besides that title, i have a million things on my mind.

number one: i’m working on a million things right now. {see like i just said HAHA}
yes a million.

*moving files
*writing contracts

..ok thats not really a million, but its a ton!

its tough being me!

ok had to get that all down before I forgot.

So, I LOVE seeing awesome photographers who come from out of town into cities like Toledo,  or even cincinnati, who are just rock stars in the wedding world. I love seeing their blog posts and such and seeing the different angles and stuff that they do- but then see that BMP is really up to par with them! Its an awesome feeling to see how far BMP has come

so, colleen- love her!.. or as everyone calls her ‘een’… she is the sweetest person alive- like really. i think the next possible person would be lisa s. from cleveland… but.. this is why we love what we do…

ahhh! we got a table and dinner!! its like, we’re part of the family! haha

how fun. seriously- we {us wedding photographers} have the best job, ever. done.

what else is going on…

well..i also must say that colleen and danny might have had a tie for funniest speeches for BMP this year- tied with Erin’s winter wedding in january…the sisters gave funny gag gifts and told funny stories and sung some awesome song from when they were little, but the brother of the groom- the best man- his was amazing. he had a slide show discussion of a speech

so here he showed a drunk funny picture of each groomsmen at their finest.. THEN he had a cutout made of the groom! omg, you had to see it.

seriously, awesome.

Weee! Its Monday!

SO! Our first image.. oh ya.. guns Sarah had asked me if it would be ok if they had them in their engagement session, and i was like oh ya, thats totally fine- THINKING that since they lived in teh country that it would be like, you know, a shotgun or something…

HAHAH never a dull moment with BMP, never a dull moment.

I had a few things going on this past weekend up in toledo.. saw my friends band play, saw Colleen from the Toledo Zoo, had a family session, wedding, and then 10yr HS reunion Saturday, sunday had two engagement shoots and drove home to KY. weeee! phew! Love being busy though and having things to do- it makes me feel like i’m not just ‘wasting my days’..    or as other people would say, i’m a work-a-hoic..

oh well, whatever

Lisa and Mike are both going to med school right now and are just about the cutest couple you’ve ever seen! HAHAH I love it! We were able to pull them from the books for our session last night (since I emailed her Monday and was like, dude the weather is going to be a-ma-zing this week.. can we get your session schedule in a few days by chance- and BOOOM! Lisa made it happen

I’m off to toledo this weekend to photograph the super fun couple of Jessica and Derek!!!!! and i’m having breakfast with the FABULOUS dallas galbreath (http://dallasgalbreath.com/) she’s about fab as fab can be!!! then i have family session after that, THEN the wedding

Sunday, I have some more super cute engagement sessions and then.. nothing!
